The Silicone Express ! !

Location: Savonlinna, Finland.. This Kenworth K100C '83 is an old junkyard dog which is totally rebuilt and customized from ground up by it's owner Jussi "Silicone" Lopponen from Finland. Even the awesome flame paint job and murral are self made as the stainless pieces as well. Truck is named after his HOT muscle babe wife Anu Pekonen who poses with the truck in the pictures. Silicone Express is powered with Cummins 855cid and has 9 speed Fuller gearbox which is operated via custom built Twin Stick set up.

I just wanted to add.. An amazing truck, a great guy & a great gal,

I came across this rig while browsing a trucking forum.. the aviator picture immediately caught my eye, i checked out the profile & hit the link to his website, right away i knew this guy was on my wave band !

Although i had pretty much blown my budget for this, all of a sudden it looked like i was going to Helsinki !

I guess we could have arranged somebody else to take the pictures for the calendar but where's the fun in that ! lol, i rolled into Savonlinna bus station & rolled out in the Silicone Express ! Jussi and his wife showed me great hospitality, visiting shows and party's and the photo shoot of course ! I had an amazing time in Finland & made friends for life.

Also, massive thank you to Jussi & Juuso for helping with the calendar sales & all the folks in Finland who have supported the website

Look forward to the next project my friend, i'm sure it will be out of this world ! and hopefully i'll be back for another shoot !
